Returns & Refunds

At Roca Ceramics, every piece is handmade in small batches in Ojai, California. Variations in glaze, color, size, and form are part of what makes handmade pottery unique and are not considered defects but rather the nature of handmade ceramics that are to be celebrated.

Returns

I accept returns on unused, non-custom items within 14 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return, items must:

  • Be unused and in their original condition.
  • Be returned in their original packaging whenever possible.
  • Be shipped back within 7 days of return approval.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or an incorrect item was sent.

Damaged Items

I take great care packaging your order, but occasionally damage can occur during transit.

If your order arrives damaged, please email me within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the damaged item
  • Photos of the packaging and shipping box

Once reviewed, I will offer either a replacement (if available) or a refund.

Exchanges

Because many pieces are small batch and made in limited quantities, exchanges are handled on a case-by-case basis and depend on inventory availability.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Sale or discounted items
  • Gift cards
  • Items damaged through normal use, misuse, or improper care

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after the returned item is received and inspected.
